Intro to Ukulele Workshop In-Person

This workshop will introduce participants with the most essential fundamentals they'll need to get started with ukulele. Topics covered will include: how to hold a uke, how to hold a pick (or use your thumb or other fingers) to strum, how to tune a uke, how to play notes and simple chords, and conclude with the Presenter leading attendees to strum through chord charts to 1 or 2 simple and familiar songs. Library will furnish loaner ukes to participants without instruments. At least 3 days prior to the event, Presenter will furnish Library with a short booklet of material corresponding to the material covered in the event. Library will them make copies for participants.
