Heard about Dungeons and Dragons from popular media such as Critical Role, Dimension 20, or Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves?  Interested in seeing if tabletop role-playing games might be for you, but intimidated by the thick rulebooks? Familiar with TTRPGs, but wanting to branch out from the usual fantasy games into new genres? Come join us at Outside the Box, PPL's official TTRPG program! Our resident game masters will run a series of games using a variety of TTRPG systems intended to introduce our players to the breadth of content that TTRPGs have to offer! 

This first session will feature an introduction to the wildly popular 5th Edition of Dungeons and Dragons! We'll be running a brief self-contained adventure that is perfect to introduce the game to those unfamiliar with D&D or TTRPGs in general. We'll spend some time at the start going over basic rules and creating our characters before the adventure. Ages 12-18 welcome. Premade characters, dice, and snacks will be provided, and registration will be capped to ensure a good experience for everyone. See you there!
